Continuing Education Provider Policy

                                                                                                        

  All programs are developed and conducted by The Technical Training Institute, LLC as an approved provider of continuing education by the North Carolina Board of Examiners of Electrical, Plumbing, Heating, Cooling and Fire

Sprinkler Contractors.

It is the intent of the provider to provide accurate and authoritative information in regard to the subject matter covered. It is important to note that neither The Technical Training Institute, nor the instructor for this presentation are engaged in rendering legal, accounting or other professional advice. Presentation is for educational purposes only. If legal, accounting or other professional advice is needed, the service of a competent professional should be sought.

The policies outlined below will be strictly adhered to and the provider accepts no responsibility for any representation made other than those outlined below:

1.  This is a continuing education program.  Attendance is mandatory. The provider will monitor attendance and require that each participant sign in prior to entering the classroom.  Participants will be required to sign out at the end of the program, and attest that they did in fact attend the program for the hours required to satisfy license renewal.  A certificate of attendance will not be provided to those participants who are not present during the required classroom hours.

2.  The use of recording devices in any course is prohibited.

3.  Smoking is not allowed in the classroom.

4.  We require students to turn off cellular phones and pagers during the class presentations. Sufficient breaks are provided for any participant to maintain telephone contact.

5.  Replacement cost for the student class material is $25.00, and it is available only to the participants in the program.  In addition, the tuition must be paid in full.

6.  Personal hotel reservations and the expense of food and lodging are the responsibility of the participant.

7.  If any check presented for payment of the tuition or other charges is dishonored for any reason, the student will be assessed a service charge of $25.00 which must be paid together with the full amount of any dishonored check within 7 days of notice.

8. The instructor shall have complete authority and discretion in the dismissal of any student from any of our programs for any conduct or other reason deemed by the instructor to be adverse to the best interest of the class.
