The NC Fuel Gas Code Changes for 2012 - Part I, II & III
Part I: 9:00 am to 11:00 am Appliance Venting – 2012 NC Fuel Gas Code – Chapter 5 – Review of Changes: Basic Concepts of Venting-Section 501; Chimneys and Vents- Section 502 & Section 503.
Part II: 11:15 am to 1:15 pm Venting Concepts & Testing Procedures – Venting of Appliances with single and common vents; Identifying vents with down draft potential; Vents under the influence of exhaust fans; Testing procedures for proper venting.
Part III: 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm NC Fuel Gas Code/Chapter 3 – 2012 Changes to NC Fuel Gas Code; Calculating combustion air for gas fired equipment; approved methods of providing combustion air.
