NC Heating Contractor Continuing Education

CE Class Tuition . . . .$129.00 / student per six hour class  (UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED)

Part II:  11:15 am to 1:15 pm

Analyzing Existing Duct Systems-Application of Section 918 of 2012 NC Mechanical Code, Review of ACCA Manual D requirements for duct sizing; ;

Review of 2012 NC Energy Code’s duct testing requirements; Testing existing duct systems for compliance and efficiency.

NC Fuel Gas Code/Chapter 3 – 2012 Changes to NC Fuel Gas Code; Calculating combustion air for gas fired equipment; approved methods of

Best Practices for utilizing the WrightSoft computerized load  calculating program to comply with 2012 NC Energy

Code Changes.  Review of changes in the 2012 NC Mechanical, Fuel Gas and Energy Conservation Codes.

WrightSoft Load Estimating; Building the basic 2012 NC Energy Code Template, Analyzing Energy Star 3.0 requirements;

Vents under the influence of exhaust fans; Testing procedures for proper venting.
